From BCR ... "Mature rosette to 10cms. diameter x 13cms. tall in spike. Named after the breeder and late pioneer grower Bea(trix) Hanson, who was called "Trix" by her friends.

Andrew Flower ... "I found an old clump of this flowering down the back of the growing-on house: plant originally came to me from Brian Chudleigh in 2004, he got it from Bea Hansen so it has been around NZ for a while.
This crossing doesn't feature on the BCR, and I am pretty sure it was one of Bea's own crosses. I suggest it be registered as 'Trixie' "
