Aechmea retusa
Ecuador. The sub-group of Ecuadorian Platyaechmea are very popular plants and include the likes of Aechmea chantinii, Aechmea zebrina, Aechmea tessmannii and Aechmea retusa.
They have many similarities to each other, need similar growing conditions and are sometimes confused with each other.
